OC Kids, LA Kids and SD Kids have helped a lot of people and animals.  We have raised $75,000 in financial and in-kind donations. Here are some of the non-profits we have helped starting in July 2016.

• OC Rescue Mission

  • OC Kids held a food drive for OC Rescue Mission in 2016.

  • OC Kids held a diaper and baby supply drive in May, 2018.

  • OC Kids held a Halloween Costume drive October, 2018.

  • OC Kids with LA Galaxy OC Soccer team donated soccer balls and taught children to play soccer in 2019.

  • OC Kids (over age 10) volunteer in the baby and toddler room at OC Rescue Mission.

• Thomas House Family Shelter

  • OC Kids held a launch event in July 2016 and collected 45 backpacks, 100s of school supplies, 100s of after-school snacks, and Walmart gift cards (estimated impact of $1500)

• WHW

  • OC Kids held a lemonade stand in Irvine for WHW raising $700.92, and LA Kids held a clothing drive of adult clothing (estimated impact of $3000)

• Choose Creativity

  • OC Kids held an art event supporting​ the art non-profit Choose Creativity in November, 2018.

• Operation Gratitude

  • OC Kids donated Halloween candy and made cards for soldiers stationed abroad (financial impact of $100)

  • OC Kids held an event in January, 2018 to make paracord bracelets.

• Souls4Soles

  • OC Kids held an event and collected 80 pairs of shoes (estimated impact of $400)

• Present Now

  • LA Kids collected 138 holiday gifts in a drive (estimated impact of $2000)

  • LA Kids did a lemonade stand at the 2018 Party in the Park 

  • LA Kids did a lemonade stand at the 2019 Party in the Park 

  • LA Kids donated supplies and packed backpacks 

• Baby2Baby

  • LA Kids collected over 1052 books for children (estimated impact of $750) and held a separate event collecting money for Baby2Baby.

  • LA Kids had an event and collected $139 for BabytoBaby

  • LA Kids donated $500 clothes and 8 hours of sorting clothes (estimated impact $580)

• Families Forward

  • OC Kids held a toy drive ​in November, 2017 supporting Families Forward, and LA Kids, OC Kids and SD Kids held a toy drive at the same time to support other non-profits. 

• Sunrise Senior Living Center

  • LA Kids served cookies and banana bread to senior citizens (estimated impact: $150)​

• Goods+

  • LA Kids collected children’s clothing (estimated impact of $4300)

• Irvine Animal Care Center

  • OC Kids collected supplies for animals, including dog beds, dog food, solicited donations from PetSmart in Tustin, etc. (estimated impact of $1500)

  • In 2019, 4TheLuvof Paws was created with Girl Scouts and members of OC Kids, and they set up a website and multiple you tube videos to support animals (www.4thluvofpaws.com) and donated items to Irvine Animal Care Center.

• Pacific Marine Mammal Center

  • In April 2017, OC Kids founders Brooke and Lauren had an OC Kids Giving Back 9th birthday party and in lieu of gifts, requested donations to save seals at the PMMC, raising $386

• Together We Rise

  • In June 2017, OC Kids organized an event to make duffel bags for foster children (estimated impact $500 in donations)

• San Diego Youth Services

  • SD Kids held their launch event, a pajama party, in July 2017 and collected donations to support San Diego’s homeless estimated to be worth $689.

  • In 2018, OC Kids, LA Kids and SD Kids held a lemonade stand and donated their proceeds to SD Youth Services.

• Cancer Free Generation

  • In August 2017, LA Kids held a bake sale and lemonade stand and raised over $3000 to support cancer research.

• Coronado Public Library

  • OC Kids, SD Kids and LA Kids held a book drive supporting the Coronado library in December, 2018.​​​​​​

• San Diego Unified District - Homeless

  • In September 2017, SD Kids held a hygiene kit drive to help homeless children in the San Diego Unified School district, with an impact of $1,579.50.

• KidsGiving Event

  • OC Kids hold a Kidsgiving event each November, which is a Thanksgiving party.  Children paint and sell art, and the money is donated to many different charities that each child selects, including Choose Creativity, ​animal shelters, and other non-profits. 

• Wags and Walks

  • LA Kids held a drive in March, 2019 supporting an animal shelter, Wags and Walks and taught children to ​make dog toys. (estimated impact $2500)

• Tower Cancer/Cancer Free Generation

  • OC Kids, LA Kids and SD Kids raised money with a lemonade stand (close to $3000) and attended a walk to support Cancer Free Generation/Tower Cancer in March 2018 in memory of a mother of 2 LA Kids Giving Back girls who died of cancer in 2017.

• Dancers Against Cancer

  • In July 2019, OC Kids held a quick lemonade stand and raised $100 for Dancers Against Cancer.​

• Additional Events

  • SD Kids held an event to support families and animals that were victims in the wildfires - October 2017.

  • LA Kids held an event to help natural disaster victims, families who need to learn how to prepare for natural disasters​.

  • OC Kids held a "Share the Love" event to support doing good deeds for friends and people in the community.

  • OC Kids held a Gratitude Challenge during November where kids wrote down their gratitudes in a journal during November.
